Like four preseason games weren't enough. If there is in fact a 2011 season in the NFL the Chicago Bears are going to find themselves playing in 5 preseason games.
On Tuesday the NFL announced the preseason schedule for the upcoming season and the Bears and Rams were selected to play in the Hall of Fame game on August 7th. Former Bears defensive end Richard Dent is going to be inducted into the hall this year so it might give all those Bears fans who travel more reason to go see the Super Bowl MVP get enshrined.
Besides the Rams, Chicago will host the Bills and Browns while traveling to New York to face the Giants as well as heading down to play the Titans who no longer have former Bears Jeff Fisher as their head coach.
They will play the Bills sometime during the second weekend of August (11-14) before heading to New York on the 22nd. For the third preseason game they will head down to Tennessee the weekend of the 25th before playing their 5th and final preseason game at Soldier Field sometime during Labor Day weekend (1-4).
