Bulls get 60th win in Orlando
For the 6th time in franchise history the Chicago Bulls have won 60 games. Do you know what they did the other 5 times they accomplished this feat?
The Bulls now have a record of 60-20 and remain 1 game back of the NBA leading Spurs in the race for home court throughout the playoffs.
Derrick Rose in the absence of Dwight Howard showed off to a national audience why he deserves the MVP award. Drose 39 points on 13-17 shooting including 10-10 from the free throw line in the Bulls 102-99 victory. Thankfully Jameer Nelson's game tying 3 pointer was released just a tenth of a second too late allowing the Bulls to avoid overtime.
On offense the Bulls could do no wrong without Howard guarding the paint shooting 60% from the field. However they still allowed the Magic to hang around even though they only shot 43%.
The Bulls next take on the Knicks in the Garden before closing out the season at home against the New Jersey Nets. Remember the Spurs still have the Lakers and Suns so home court throughout isn't out of the question.
