Today is a big birthday day here in Chicago. Today marks the birth for three players today. Plus it is also an interesting anniversary.

On this day in 1983 Jay Cutler and Tommie Harris, for Da Bears was born but also on that very day was the day Lee Elia went off. Below is the rant. Do not listen to it at work or with small children around unless they know how to use their earmuffs.

Harris is 27 today and by all accounts is on the downside of his career after making the Pro Bowl in 2006. Maybe tonight when Tommie blows out his candles he will wish for a new set of knees and maybe he will live up to that contract.

Jay Cutler is also 27 and is the franchise for Da Bears. Cutler is set to rewrite the record books when it comes to the Bears. He will probably hold every record by the time his current contract is up in 2013. I wonder what Cutler will wish for tonight, better offensive linemen, a go up and get it wide receiver or maybe a girlfriend so he doesn't need to be the third wheel all the time with Olson and his wife.

But maybe the biggest birthday of all in Chicago today is of Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews who is celebrating his 22nd birthday. Toews the youngest captain in NHL history when he received the C last season is getting ready for the second round of the playoffs which will start Saturday at the UC versus the Cancucks. Could Toews be wishing that he could grow a playoff beard better then a 14 year old boy or will he wish for what all Hawks fans have wishing for since 1961?

Happy birthday everyone.
